Stefan tries to stop Damon spiraling out of control in The Vampire Diaries 7×12 “Postcards From the Edge”!
In The Vampire Diaries 7×12 “Postcards From the Edge” episode Damon spirals out of control but can Stefan stop him when he discovers the reason?
Did Damon really destroy Elena’s body in Things We Lost in the Fire? Executive Producer Julie Plec has said she hopes Nina Dobrev and her character comes back when the series ends “unless something catastrophic happens.” Julie continues to say, “I basically committed to Ian [Somerhalder] and Paul [Wesley] that when they’re ready to be done, I’ll be done. They could be ready very soon, or they could really want to stick it out. Right now, that’s up to them. I’m with them as long as I feel like I can keep telling stories for them. There is still a chapter of [Elena’s] story left to be told. [I’ll] take [Dobrev] for whatever she’s willing to do to tell that story.”
Although “something catastrophic” seems to have happened, perhaps it was just Damon’s illusion. Maybe the casket was really empty and he just envisions Elena being in it.
