Will the cure get closer to Elena’s lips in The Vampire Diaries 6×20 “I’d Leave My Happy Home for You” episode?

In The Vampire Diaries press release synopsis for 6×20 “I’d Leave My Happy Home for You” Elena will ask Bonnie and Jo if she should accept Damon’s offer about the cure!

Damon’s impulsive offer probably has something to do with the cure. Faced with continued vampire immortality and eternal life with Damon, or chucking it all and becoming human again with a possible human Damon, which will she decide on?

No doubt Damon has come up with a plan where they can share the cure and both become human. But with all of Damon’s plans, it will probably backfire. Elena will become human, but Damon will remain a vampire. Then he will have to compel Elena to forget everything about them and move on with her life. Thus leading the way for Elena, and Nina Dobrev, to exit The Vampire Diaries series.

Mere speculation, so we’ll have to keep watching to find out.
