What will happen now that Kai is back in the season 6 finale 6×22 “I’m Thinking of You All the While” episode?
Now that Kai has returned, it looks like he’s back to his old wicked self, without the mellowing aspects of Luke. From the second Chris Wood’s video below, for the season 6 finale, Kai did a bad thing. No doubt referring to how Elena ended up and why Damon demands to know what he did to her. But as Chris said, “It was in the script!”
It will be interesting to see what bad thing Kai did that was in the script. Perhaps if he thought Elena was still a vampire he tried to help her, but in helping her he made things worse since she’s now human. The chain of events Kai started will no doubt result in Damon’s “most difficult decision of his life.”
And what about Jo? Did she survive to complete the marriage ceremony to become Mrs. Saltzman?
Will Bonnie’s twisted plan have something to do with getting rid of Kai for good? With Elena, and Nina, leaving the series, will it open the way for Bamon? According to Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie, she’s a fan of anything having to do with Ian.
Kat Graham on Bamon
I’m hoping that they can explore that really sort of layered relationship. I’ve always been a fan of for them. I’ve never not once shipped my character with an actor or actress on the show. I’m all about exploring characters’ sexuality and stuff like that and I’m hoping that Bonnie, through her new empowerment, will start to discover another side of herself as well, maybe something that hasn’t really been a focus on the show.
This episode could be the last one we see Kai on, since Chris Wood is starring in Julie Plec’s new series “Cordon.” Kat Graham also said she “had a great time working with Chris Wood” and she hopes fans will be happy “with the rest of his scenes in the show.” Sounds pretty final for Kai and Chris!
