Promo video for The Originals episode rerun of “Moon Over Bourbon Street”!

The Originals promo video for the “Moon Over Bourbon Street” episode is about keeping your enemies close and party, party, party, as in the “best the city’s ever seen”!

What better way to keep your enemies close than to have an extravagant party with werewolves, witches, and vampires. The confinement in the “City of the Dead” seems to have made Klaus and Elijah closer. At least for the moment. They seem ready to reign New Orleans and French Quarter together.

“Keep your friends close and your enemies closer” is this episode’s theme, and there will be some unnatural alliances ahead as bedlam reigns with vampires feeding on local humans and witches attacking vampires, no doubt in retaliation for years of being prohibited from practicing their magic.

Now that he’s been exiled by Elijah, Marcel starts scheming to take his city back, while also helping Cami and Father Kieran, played by Todd Stashwick, deal with the hex that nasty witch put on him. Looks like Father Kieran’s episodes are numbered as he’s starting to go crazy like his nephew Sean. Although Klaus will try to help, there are some things even his hybrid blood can’t cure.

“Moon Over Bourbon Street” press release synopsis

UNNATURAL ALLIANCES – After accusing Klaus (Joseph Morgan) of doing nothing while their control over the Quarter crumbles, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) makes a move to take matters into his own hands. He receives an intriguing offer of support from Francesca (guest star Peta Sergeant), a beautiful woman from a powerful New Orleans family. In an attempt to bring the warring factions of the city together, the Mikaelsons throw an extravagant party, where Klaus offers Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) a tempting deal, Elijah and Hayely share a dance, and a violent fight comes to a surprising end. Finally, even as Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) works on a new path to power, he continues to help Cami (Leah Pipes) deal with her Uncle Kieran’s tragedy (guest star Todd Stashwick).
