Producers’ Preview for The Originals episode of “Moon Over Bourbon Street” rerun!

The Originals producers share their preview of the “Moon Over Bourbon Street” episode where Elijah has to take control from Klaus, who just wants to paint.

Michael Narducci reveals there will be a “power vacuum” in the French Quarter because Marcel has been exiled and Klaus is depressed and just wants to be left alone to mope and paint. Vampires are running wild, and without anybody to suppress them the witches are feeling feisty. Realizing that everything is falling into chaos, Elijah recognizes that he has to take control or else his little niece could be born in the middle of the French Quarter war among the supernatural elements.

Julie Plec discusses Elijah’s taking control for the moment. Elijah has a meeting to try and bring the supernatural elements of the Quarter together and to try and broker a peace. Hayley is upset because he’s only invited humans, witches, and vampires, and hasn’t invited the werewolves to participate.

Julie continued explaining that this episode starts exploring the actual power structure among the New Orleans supernatural community. They will be exploring all the elements and finding out what each faction’s agenda is. The snip of Marcel describes the situation best, “A battle’s brewing.”
