Press release for The Originals episode rerun of “Moon Over Bourbon Street”!
The Originals press release for “Moon Over Bourbon Street” confirms the Mikaelson siblings all survived their imprisonment by a boundary spell in the “City of the Dead.”
After banishing his sister Rebekah to live the life she wants to, away from him and New Orleans, Klaus is depressed. He’s also depressed after Elijah accused him of looking like his rage-filled father, definitely not a pattern he wants to repeat with his own daughter.
Toward the end of the “Farewell to Storyville” episode he wandered if his father’s father treated him the way he treated Klaus. If and when the time comes, will he ask Mikael about this before he kills him? Something for Mikael to think about before he draws his last breath.
What better way to get things back to normal, and to perk Klaus up a bit, than to throw an extravagant party. Looks like everybody is invited, so it should also be an explosive party as werewolves, vampires, and witches try to keep from killing each other!
The curse on Hayley’s family has been removed, so Jackson the Alpha will be there with Oliver. Klaus will have a deal to broker with Jackson, but will he take it?
Father Kieran, played by Todd Stashwick, isn’t doing too well with his hex, and it doesn’t sound like anybody will be able to help him.
“Moon Over Bourbon Street” press release synopsis
UNNATURAL ALLIANCES – After accusing Klaus (Joseph Morgan) of doing nothing while their control over the Quarter crumbles, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) makes a move to take matters into his own hands. He receives an intriguing offer of support from Francesca (guest star Peta Sergeant), a beautiful woman from a powerful New Orleans family. In an attempt to bring the warring factions of the city together, the Mikaelsons throw an extravagant party, where Klaus offers Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) a tempting deal, Elijah and Hayely share a dance, and a violent fight comes to a surprising end. Finally, even as Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) works on a new path to power, he continues to help Cami (Leah Pipes) deal with her Uncle Kieran’s tragedy (guest star Todd Stashwick).
Michelle Paradise and Christopher Hollier wrote this episode, and Michael Robinson directed it.
