With Hayley cursed in werewolf form Phoebe Tonkin says she’ll be pissed in season 3 of The Originals!

As The Originals season 2 ended with “Ashes to Ashes” Hayley was cursed to her wolf form when it isn’t a full moon, so she’s pissed at Klaus. When season 3 returns in October, 2015, she’ll face an unknown future.

Phoebe Tonkin discussed Hayley’s plight at The CW upfronts and revealed that at the moment we’ll only see Hayley once a month, at the full moon. She hopes there will be one episode at least where she’ll be human, although she thinks it could be “really cool” to see Hayley as a wolf.

As for Klaus, she thinks he should sire some nannies to help take care of baby Hope. She also feels it would have been nice if he had let her in on his plan, which ended up saving her life since Dahlia intended to kill her.

Phoebe on Klaus’ plan for Hayley

Hayley’s not going to be able to forgive him easily for what he’s done. Even if he did it for the good of his baby, I don’t think he did it in the right way. He should have let Hayley know that’s what he was doing so she could have been part of the plan. But he didn’t do that, so now, [she’s] pissed.

In spite of the curse, she’s looking forward to season 3 and excited about possible storylines amongst the girls, Riley Voelkel who plays Freya, Leah Pipes who plays Cami, and Danielle Campbell who plays Davina. Maisie Richardson-Sellers will also no doubt be returning occasionally as Rebekah.

She also loves the triangle between Hayley, Jackson, and Elijah and feels lucky to be able to work with such amazing actors like Daniel Gillies who plays Elijah and Nathan Parsons who plays Jackson.

In addition to Phoebe‘s comments about next season, executive producer Michael Narducci also gave some insight about what can be expected in season 3 for Hayley.

Michael Narducci on Hayley’s future

Built into the DNA of the show is the Mikaelson family. There’s also this young baby, and that baby has a mother, and she has a clear tie to Klaus and a clear tie to Elijah; she’s fundamentally important to the show. Even though she’s in a worst-case scenario, we definitely have not seen the last of her. We have to resolve what has been done to her and what it means to her, and if there is any cure to her situation, we’ll have to deal with that as priority one. Whether that improves her condition, or significantly worsens it, I can’t say. She’s not being written off the show.

Don’t miss Hayley’s return to see if her and her pack can get the curse removed again when The Originals season 3 returns in October, 2015, at 9/8c, after The Vampire Diaries, on The CW!
