Todd Lasance, Julian, The Vampire Diaries

Find out if Julian survived the party in The Vampire Diaries 7×08 “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me” episode!

The Vampire Diaries 7×08 “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me” begins with a flash-forward to Damon being tied up at Caroline’s news station. Again, three years from now. Someone had set a trap for Stefan, Damon was the one caught though. It’s Lily. Damon seems shocked.

In present time, Lily is laying in bed with Julian. Meanwhile, Stefan, Enzo and Damon are working on a plan to kill Julian. They want to un-link Julian and Lily.

The girls are trying to cook and Julian is very flirty with the girls. Bo was there too. Valerie wants to tell the family about what Julian did to Valerie and get them on her side. Mary-Louise and  Nora are very playfully rude to Lily.

At the dorm, Caroline is writing to Elena. She’s telling her, her thoughts about the babies and Ric. Matt calls Caroline to tell her that those compelled people are gone. Caroline tells Matt that she’s pregnant.

At the library house, Enzo goes to visit Lily. Lily is looking for a present for Nora and Mary-Louise’s anniversary. Enzo knows the poem book she’s talking about and recites it for her. Enzo gives her the book she was looking for. Enzo wants Lily to run and leave town with him. Enzo is quite sweet in this moment. They share a heated kiss against the library bookshelf. Lily seems torn. Enzo then leaves.

Julian has the girls blindfolded and leads them into their anniversary party. Julian has the house filled with people that he’s compelled. Lily shows up and isn’t happy about it. Mary and Nora throw a fit and she agrees to to allow it this one time.

Stefan gets a text from Lily telling him where the party is. As he is about to leave, Caroline shows up. Caroline was left out of the loop of everything and was hoping to tell Stefan about the babies. They go sit out on the porch and she tells him about the babies. Stefan is shocked. Caroline wants him to say something, but he’s being very mum. He tells her he has to leave, she worries but understands…sort of.

At the party, Mary has an engagement ring for Nora. Julian is very rude about the diamond in her engagement ring. Julian gives her a beautiful ring to give to her beloved.

Lily gives Nora the poem book and she seems to really like it. Julian sneaks up on Lily and leads her inside to dance. Lily is nervous at first but when the music changes to a song they knew they share a dance. Julian is disappointed in Lily for not drinking from the people. He tells her she’s holding back. Julian has a human waiting on her to feed from. Lily accepts his challenge and right when she does, Damon walks in. He’s mad and leaves.

Damon waits for his mother outside. He makes it clear that if they want Julian dead then he doesn’t care if she dies again. Damon is brutally honest about his hate for her but she takes it like a champ.

Mary-Louise and Nora meet in a beautiful spot and Mary-Louise wastes no time in asking for Nora’s hand in marriage. Nora of course agrees. Valerie shows up.

Enzo is feeding on a girl in the bar. Matt walks in and stops him. There’s a storm coming. Enzo is very rude to Matt and warns him that he will soon die if the heretics stay in town. Enzo walks outside and is immediately shot. Apparently there’s some kind of Vampire task force out.

At the party, Valerie is telling the family about Julian and what he did. Lily then finishes the missing pieces. Lily stands by Valerie and her story. The heretics seem to believe the news. Bo is the first to let Valerie know that he believes her. He embraces her then the others do as well. Well except for Mary-Lousie. She’s hesitant. Nora talks Mary-Louise into joining them. Lily texts Stefan to tell him it worked.

A FRACTURED FAMILY — As Julian (guest star Todd Lasance) and Lily (guest star Annie Wersching) throw a party to celebrate Mary Louise (guest star Teressa Liane) and Nora’s (guest star Scarlett Byrne) anniversary, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) set in motion a risky plan to eliminate a new threat posed by Julian. Meanwhile, following a major revelation uncovered by Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore), Caroline (Candice King) is forced to face her new reality, even as it threatens to destroy her relationship with Stefan. Finally, determined to do what’s best for her family, Lily makes the most difficult decision of her life. Michael Malarkey and Zach Roerig also star.

Stefan and Damon immediately start beating Julian. Stefan goes to check on Lily. She seems sad. Stefan tells Lily about Caroline being pregnant. He tells her about the Gemini twins. He asks his mother for advice. She tells him to think of Caroline and her feelings. To tell her that he loves her. She’s sad about Julian and worrying about losing everything. Stefan reassures her she hasn’t lost him yet. They share such a beautiful moment in this beautiful place. Stefan tells her that she can break through to Damon if she would just try.

Julian is trying to talk Damon into letting him go. He’s doing a good job of pissing him off. Valerie walks in and tells Damon not to believe Julian. Julian starts talking about the baby.

Mary-Louise walks in and is wondering about the baby. Mary-Louise snaps Valerie’s neck and makes Damon pass out.

Caroline is sitting alone in her dorm room. She gets a call from Stefan. She’s been crying and Stefan apologizes for earlier. Caroline tells him it’s okay if he wants to leave now. She would be totally okay with it. He reassures her he’s not going anywhere and he loves her. She cries happy tears.

Mary Louise runs away. Nora catches her as she goes down the stairs. Lily finds Julian. He’s got Damon and Valerie tied up now. Julian tells her she has to choose which one lives. He hands her the stake. Meanwhile, Mary-Louise and Nora are fighting on the stairs about this. Nora immediately takes off the ring and tells her she doesn’t want any of this and leaves.

Lily tries to talk to Julian. She doesn’t want this. Damon offers himself to Lily. Lily walks over to Valerie. Then Walks over to Damon, telling them each good-bye. Lily stands up to Julian, she apologizes to Damon and then stakes herself. Julian rushes to her. Julian of course already un-linked them. Now she’s killed herself for no reason.

Matt has Enzo vervained. He’s made some new friends, someone to help them clean up Mystic Falls.

Meanwhile, Nora frantically tries to save Lily. Nora is so heartbroken. Bo then goes to Lily, he doesn’t say anything. Just gives her a nod and broken eyes, is all she needs to know. Stefan then goes to Lily. He gently takes her hand and listens to her. She wants him to live happily. Stefan ants Damon to say something, but Damon just drinks.

Julian is at the Salvatore house, destroying it. He’s so broken without Lily. Mary-Louise is also broken.  With Lily, Valerie tells Lily good-bye as well. Valerie leaves and lets Damon and Stefan have their time.

Damon walks over to Lily. Lily uses her last few moments to tell Damon sorry. Stefan wants Damon to say something to their mother, he kneels and tells her “you made your bed, have a nice nap”. Stefan is appalled.

In the flash-forward ending, Damon calls for his mother. She goes to release him. However tells him she can’t release or save him. He’s been injected with werewolf venom. It was just the werewolf venom, whoever the person was, it wasn’t Lily.
