Celebrate the holidays with the Mikaelson family in The Originals 3×09 “Savior” episode!

The Originals 3×09 “Savior” begins with Rebekah being moved. Elijah is of course there when she’s found and they bring her out of the water. He immediately removes the dagger and Rebekah wakes up. Seeming normal.

At the Mikaelson home, Klaus is getting his morning glass of blood. Cami seems very relaxed and happy to be there. Klaus is watching over Cami. Cami of course, turns into therapist mode, until she gets a text from Vincent.

At the bar, Tristan is there doing business. Marcel isn’t exactly happy to have Tristan and the Stricts invading his space. Tristan is making plans to get a new regent in the Quarter, one on his side.

Cami is looking for Vincent, Vincent finds her and tells her she needs to find Kinney.

In the bayou, Hayley goes to find Jackson. Jackson asks about Hayley’s feelings for Elijah. Hayley is honest with Jackson 100% and asks Jackson to come home for Christmas. It’s their first Christmas together and Jackson agrees to come home.

Aurora is staying at Tristan’s. He promises to watch over her. Elijah tries to make sure that Rebekah is doing okay. Rebekah then notices a mark on her arm after she has some sort of pain/blackout.

Jackson and Hayley come back to town, a Christmas tree in tow. Jackson sees Freya and notices that she’s being followed by several people. Freya tries to fight off her attackers, they take the stone that can kill the Mikaelsons. However, Jackson shows up and kills all the Vampires but one of the Vampires. He then carries Freya to safety.

Cami goes to see Kinney, and Klaus of course followed her. Kinney, is ready to kill himself when Klaus busts open the door. He’s under compulsion. Cami asks for Klaus’ help.

Freya gets to Hayley okay, and she feeds from Hayley. She’s okay. Elijah then comes in with Rebekah.

Vincent is at Marcel’s gym working out. Marcel isn’t happy that he’s there. He doesn’t want Vincent there. Marcel angers Vincent and Vincent lets him know that he’s not powerless. Vincent is going to be regent.

Klaus talks to Kinney as Kinney sits holding his gun. Cami of course, watches over as Klaus talks Kinney off the ledge. He then compels him to believe in himself.

Meanwhile, at the Mikaelson’s Freya is telling Rebekah about her new mark. She’s cursed. Freya is weak. Freya has been poisoned. Elijah is mad. Freya later wakes up. Freya sends the others to get the supplies ready to help Rebekah.

At Kinney’s home, Cami walks up to Klaus and thanks him. They almost kiss but Klaus gets a call. Finn shows up, warning Freya that the Mikaelson’s aren’t worth what she suffers. Klaus has to go to help Rebekah, but Cami wants to stay with Kinney. Klaus asks her to come with him. She does.



“Savior” press release synopsis

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS – When a dangerous affliction threatens to expose one of her siblings, Freya (Riley Voelkel) searches for a way to reverse the crippling curse even as she finds herself the target of The Strix’s latest plan. Elsewhere, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) keeps a watchful eye over Cami (Leah Pipes) while she attempts to help Detective Kinney (guest star Jason Dohring), whose life has begun to spiral out of control as a result of Lucien’s compulsion. Meanwhile, a confrontation with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) causes Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) to reevaluate his decision to stay out of witch business, and Hayley’s (Phoebe Tonkin) attempt at a quiet Christmas with Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) and Hope results in an unexpected surprise. Daniel Gillies also stars.

Rebekah and Hayley catch up on her time gone. Rebekah starts telling Hayley some hard truths, even if they are just because of the curse. Rebekah strangles Hayley.

Freya is working on saving Rebekah when Finn starts getting into Freya’s head. Elijah shows up and starts helping Freya. Finn agrees to help Freya just this one time. With Rebekah and Hayley, Rebekah lets Hayley go. Rebekah keeps pushing Hayley.

Elijah and Jackson watch over Freya while Rebekah and Hayley fight in the foyer. Klaus shows up in time to save Hayley. Hayley gets Jackson the  antidote and he puts it into Freya’s heart. Freya immediately wakes up and tries to save Rebekah. Freya cuts off the piece of her arm that was cursed and Rebekah returns. The boys are happy to have her back.

Hayley is playing with Hope. Jackson and Hayley have an understanding that they’re probably always going to help people. He’s learning to respect the Mikaelson’s. He’s in for doing whatever, if it means staying with Hayley. Elijah over sees this conversation and Jackson says he has an idea.

Hayley, Jackson, and Hope show up to the Mikaelson family Christmas. The tree looks great and everyone seems happy. Rebekah shows up, looking radiant. They do their annual tradition of making a Christmas wish. They’re sending Rebekah away, so that Tristan can think that she’s dead. The three Mikaelsons stand by the fire, holding hands.

At Marcel’s gym, he’s cleaning up glass when Tristan shows up. He wants to know why Vincent is trying to be regent.

At the Mikealson dinner, Jackson calls for a toast kind of. Everyone says their goodbyes to Rebekah. Klaus tells Rebekah to be careful and stay on the move. Rebekah then tells Klaus to run towards love then looks at Cami. They share a little moment.

At the Christmas party, Freya and Elijah talk. She tells him about her one time of sneaking into a Christmas party of theirs. Klaus of course goes to find Cami. She’s waiting on his balcony. He asks what she’s thinking about and she says she’s thinking of him. Cami makes a grand speech thanking him for all that he does. Klaus promises to watch over her.  Klaus then kisses her. They share a kiss and she seems extremely happy.

Freya goes to look for her stone, that connects her to Finn. It’s missing. Meanwhile, in the cemetery, Vincent is waiting. Tristan and the Stricts show up. Vincent lets them know he’s not taking what the Mikaelson’s dish out. Or any other vampire for that matter. Tristan of course calls Vincent’s bluff by showing him that he has Finn.

Klaus and Cami have their first love making scene. Rebekah returns, it didn’t work. Rebekah is still cursed. She wants Elijah to dagger her and for him not to tell anyone. Elijah doesn’t want to. She begs him to though. He does it, with a broken heart.

Klaus is sleeping when Cami wakes up. She feels sad suddenly. At Tristan’s Aurora is playing Christmas tunes. Tristan brings her a Christmas gift.

Klaus is laying in bed with Cami, his hand suddenly covered in blood. Cami killed herself, or someone killed her.


The next episode of The Originals will be 3×10 “Ghost of the Mississippi” on Friday, January 29th, 2016, at 9/8c, after The Vampire Diaries 7×10 “Hell Is Other People” at 8/7c, on The CW!
