As the sire war heats up, Hayley’s fate is unknown in The Originals 3×02 “You Hung the Moon” episode!

The Originals 3×02 “You Hung the Moon” starts with Elijah searching the forest for Hayley. Elijah is walking with Hope, he sees bloody traps everywhere. Jackson shows up and looks horrible.

Hayley is screaming and trying to leave the Mikaelson’s crypt. Davina kidnapped her, she needs Hayley’s help. However, Hayley isn’t exactly happy about the idea of helping her kidnapper right now. She just wants to see Hope. Davina tells her maybe they can help each other. She has clothes and a blood bag ready for Hayley. Davina wants Hayley to kill someone.

Meanwhile, in the bayou woods, Elijah is digging silver bullets out of Jackson. Elijah offers Jackson some blood but Jackson declines. Elijah gives Jackson the bad news about the pack. Jackson and Elijah know that something is wrong. Eljiah is taking Hope home, but Jackson wants to help find Hayley.

Meanwhile, Freya and Marcel are at a club. Freya is having a blast. Marcel warns Freya about vampires coming out to feed after midnight. Meanwhile, Cami is studying information about the homicide. She finds some clues that lead her to Lucien. At the crime scene, there is a photographer taking photos of the scene. The detective kicked her away from the site.

Klaus is watching over the city when Jackson and Elijah show up. The ask about Lucien, Lucien is the one who set the wolf hunters out. Klaus makes a threat to Jackson but Jackson doesn’t back down. Elijah however, doesn’t take Klaus‘ threat and makes his own threat.

Davina is working on a spell while Hayley is trapped. Hayley makes a threat to Davina, promising to kill her if things go wrong. Klaus is walking around his house, trying to get a hold of Freya. Cami shows up, she shows him her evidence that Lucien is the one killing people around the city. Cami tells him to redeem himself by making Lucien stop.

Lucien is having a meal at his home when the doorbell rings. Elijah stopped by to visit. Elijah doesn’t waste time, he asks about the wolves. Lucien instantly tells him that the area is over-populated. Elijah gets very mad at Lucien and then throws a piece of wood through his neck. Jackson immediately tackles Lucien and bites him. Elijah and Jackson get the info they need then Jackson has to leave.

Cami is walking around the city, a little spooked. She goes to the bar and the detective sneaks up on her, asking for a drink. Freya brings her date home, when Klaus interrupts their good time. Klaus starts playing the big brother card and immediately scares him off. Klaus needs Freya to find Hayley, using a locator spell.

At the bar, Cami is having a drink with the detective. Cami plays like she doesn’t know the things that are going on around time. The detective tells her he knows who she is. He’s been researching her. He tells her that the O’Connell’s are involved in all the trouble in the Quarter.

At the cemetery, Davina is working on her spell. Freya is also working on a locator spell to find Hayley. Freya tells Klaus that she can’t find Hayley. Meanwhile, Hayley is following the witch that Davina. Freya can’t find Hayley. Jackson shows up and and begs Freya to find Hayley. However, Jackson and Hayley start turning. Davina prays for the ancestors to help her, and Hayley then kills the witch that Davina wanted gone. However, she doesn’t get away before the witches coven starts attacking her.

 

“You Hung the Moon” press release synopsis

IMPENDING THREATS AND A DIRE PROPHECY — After discovering that poachers have begun taking out werewolves in the bayou, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) grow concerned for Hayley’s (Phoebe Tonkin) safety when she fails to show up during the full moon. Meanwhile, Davina (Danielle Campbell), the only one with the answer to Hayley’s whereabouts, plots ways to use that to her advantage. Elsewhere, Cami (Leah Pipes) approaches Klaus (Joseph Morgan) with her theory on who is behind the series of murders in the French Quarter, while Lucien (guest star Andrew Lees) delivers to Elijah an unsettling warning about the war brewing among the sire lines. Finally, after receiving a dire prophecy about the future of the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus takes extreme measures to determine the validity of this potential impending threat. Charles Michael Davis and Riley Voelkel also star.

Elijah is waiting at Lucien’s. He’s waiting on Lucien’s men to get back to him with information about Hayley. Lucien tells Elijah about the dark prophet’s haunting the Mikealson family. Lucien is very perceptive about the Mikaelson trouble.

Marcel finds Davina in the cemetery, tells her about trouble in the quarter. The witches are mourning their loved ones. Meanwhile, Klaus is at home, watching over Hope. Klaus calls Lucien to lecture him about his nightly endeavors. Lucien lies to Klaus about his wolf bite. Klaus makes it clear to Lucien that he will kill him if trouble keeps following him.

Jackson is still at the Mikealson’s. Freya is telling him that he is still cursed, Jackson just wants to find Hayley though. Hayley shows up and knocks Freya out, Hayley looks horrible and is covered in blood.

Lucien is at his apartment, doping himself up on something. It’s healing the werewolf bite on his hand. At the quarter, Davina makes a speech, promising protection from whoever harmed the witches last night.

Klaus says hello to Hayley. They battle it out for a bit. Jackson breaks free but Freya stops him. Hayley hates Klaus right now, but he hates her right now. Haley rushes to Hope but Klaus stops her. Hayley beats Klaus but he won’t fight back like she wants. He realizes what he’s done. Hope sees them and they instantly stop everything. Hope is walking now. Hayley didn’t know. She hates that she’s missed all the big moments in Hope’s baby life so far. Now Klaus feels horrible.

Jackson rushes to Hayley. Hayley isn’t letting Hope go. Eljiah offers to get Jackson and Hayley an apartment across the street. Klaus allows it, Eljiah gets the place is Jackson’s name so that Klaus won’t be invited in.

Marcel is waiting to talk to Davina at the cemetery. He’s not happy with her. She went too far this time. She’s being very offensive right now. Marcel wants Davina to go out and have some fun, take a break away from the Quarter. Davina tells Marcel he isn’t supposed to be in the cemetery, then goes inside to cry.

Hayley thinks back about her killing last night. Elijah interrupts her, asking how she is? He gives her the keys and she thanks him. She tells him that she hates Klaus. He hands her something that belongs to her and tells her that he’s only been thinking about her since she left. He’s worried about her every second.

In the Quarter, the witches are having a ceremony for those who have died. Davina gets a threat from one of the younger witches.

At the apartment, Jackson invites Hayley and Hope inside. Jackson seems so happy to have his family in a home. Hayley hands Jackson her box that Elijah gave her, it had their wedding bands inside. Jackson and Hayley start making out when Hope reminds them that she is there.

Klaus watches from his house, jealous of Hayley’s new life. In town, Cami finds the detective. He gives her back her laptop. He also brags on her great “detective” skills. He tells her he’s watching out for her really. Cami hears the news report about the killings on the radio and they get worried.

Lucien’s “dinner” is the reporter that the detective kicked away from the crime scenes.

Elijah goes to see how Freya is. She’s got an ice pack on her head, but seems to be fairing well enough. He tells her about what Lucien said. Freya, Klaus, and Elijah are working together to see what the thing is that could kill them is. She starts chanting, and whatever she is doing is using a lot of her magic…very powerful magic. She knows that Lucien wasn’t lying. She tells them that if the prophecy is fulfilled then they will all die.

Somewhere far away, a woman is training. She’s working on her swordsman ship with her brother Tristan. She apparently has a bit of a temper. Tristan doesn’t want her to leave her safe place. It’s Aurora. She doesn’t want her brother to leave. The monks come in after he drugs her. He promises to come back soon and promises to bring her a gift from New Orleans.

The next episode of The Originals will be 3×03 “I’ll See You in Hell or New Orleans” on Thursday, October 22nd, 2015, at 9/8c, after The Vampire Diaries 7×03 “Age of Innocence” at 8/7c, on The CW!
