Cami reveals her feelings for Klaus in The Originals 2×04 “Live and Let Die” Recap

The Originals episode of “Live and Let Die” begins with a party at Marcel’s. Josh tells about a new guy he met online, then the party is crashed by werewolves who attack. Suddenly they stop. Marcel is told his vampires are banished.

Vincent asks Cami about boyfriends. Without names, she mentions Marcel, then Klaus. She sees the goodness in Klaus. He got under her skin. Abusive father, manipulative mother, angry and distrustful. Underneath he’s still good. Vincent asks what happened. She says, “Some people don’t want to be saved.”

Elijah tells Hayley werewolves attacked Marcel’s people and asks about Klaus. She says he left awhile ago. Just because he has a “bitch mother” controlling the werewolves, they’re still her pack. If he hurts them she’ll kill him.

Cami calls Davina to see how she’s doing. Afterward, Klaus asks where Davina is. Cami is upset with him and doesn’t know. He says sounds pinpoints Davina’s location. He reveals Davina brought Mikael back, so she agrees to help find Davina.

In the greenhouse, Esther works a spell with Kaleb, but he’s busy texting. Esther says Davina cloaked her spell and orders him to find her and get White Oak Stake.

At the cabin, Davina watches Mikael practice with a staff. He asks how long she’s going to keep him prisoner. She says until she can unlink her friends from Klaus. He says she’s weak. She may be weak but she’s still in charge.

Marcel tries to think of a plan when Elijah comes and snaps some necks. Elijah says, “Lesson one. Always be on your guard.”

Vincent introduces Aiden and Oliver to the teenagers who will be the next werewolves. They’ll make their first kill and trigger their werewolf genes. Vincent says they’re either with him and Esther, or against them.

Mikael carves his clan crest on the staff’s handle and throws Davina a staff. She wasn’t ready and stumbles back. “Lesson one. Always be on your guard.” Now we know where Elijah got that lesson!

Mikael pushes Davina down and twists her ankle. He orders her to stand. The staff helps her stand. He looks proud of her.

Klaus, mad she left him in the car, finds Cami drinking in the bar. She asks him to have a drink and wants to know his side and why he wants to kill Mikael. Subdued, he sits and pours a drink.

Davina removes the boot revealing her swollen ankle. She calls Kaleb for help then texts him her location.

Elijah trains Gia. She’s slow, but picks up as she pins him against the wall. He orders her to take his heart, and she thrusts her hand through his chest and grabs it. Hayley is shocked when she sees Gia’s hand in Elijah’s chest. Gia immediately removes her hand and leaves.

Hayley, Aiden and Oliver, explain Esther’s plan for the wolves. Aiden’s nephew is one of them and  doesn’t want them to turn. When asked how they can help, Hayley suggests sneaking them away.
