Henry and Jo solve an art crime as Abe gets a priceless gift in Forever 1×14 “Hitler on the Half-Shelf” episode!

In the new Forever episode, 1×14 “Hitler on the Half-Shelf,” the episode focuses on family as Abe wonders about his real parents, who were killed in Auschwitz during the Holocaust.

Henry’s nemesis Adam, the other immortal like Henry played by Burn Gorman, wants to meet Abe. Perhaps he knew Abe’s real parents, and information about them is the priceless gift.

Keeping with the family theme, in a flashback we learn a little about the relationship Henry had with his father as Henry learns a shocking secret about him.

The case Henry and Jo will concentrate on involve the theft of stolen art by the Nazis, many which have never been recovered.

Henry isn’t the only one with acute powers of observation. Abe is pretty observant, too, and has a surprising observation relating to Henry’s scarf. We’ll also be learning surprising things about some of the other Forever characters in this episode.

Since this episode is about Nazi stolen art and touches on the Holocaust, the theme of this episode is “Atonement can take many forms.” Holocaust Remembrance Day is Thursday, April 16th, 2015.

“Hitler on the Half-Shelf” press release synopsis

Is Karl Haas a hero or a traitor and thief? When he ends up in the morgue, it starts an explosive chain of events with Henry and Jo racing to track — not just a murderer — but to solve a decades old notorious art crime. Karl’s son, Erik, who is an art dealer, inherited from his father priceless works of art stolen by the Nazi’s during World War II. Meanwhile, Adam [Burn Gorman] pays an unsuspecting Abe a furtive visit, and Henry’s paternal instincts force a face-off with his nemesis. Flashbacks take Henry to 1814 where he is shocked to learn that his own father’s shipping company was involved in illegal and immoral practices. Finally, Abe receives a priceless gift, on “Forever.”

Sarah Nicole Jones wrote “Hitler on the Half-Shelf” and David Warren directed it.
