Justice Leak cast as heretic Malcolm and Jaiden Kaine cast as heretic Beau in season 7 of The Vampire Diaries!

The Vampire Diaries has cast Justice Leak as heretic Malcom and his friend Jaiden Kaine as heretic Beau to help wreak havoc when season 7 begins.

Justice didn’t wait for a formal announcement, he broke the news himself on his Twitter account, and included a picture of his script, which unfortunately didn’t have a title:

Looking forward to sinking my teeth into this one… #luckycharms #TheVampireDiaries #TVDS7

Justice’s script for TVD 7×01

Justice’s heretic character Malcolm will appear in the season 7 premiere episode, which was written by executive producer Caroline Dries. There’s a four month jump from the season 6 finale so it will be interesting to see the direction the new season goes, especially since Nina Dobrev, Michael Trevino, and Steven R. McQueen are no longer part of the Mystic Falls fun. The storylines for Michael’s character Tyler Lockwood and Steven’s character Jeremy Gilbert were left open, so there’s always the chance they’ll make guest appearances. Perhaps before the end of season 7 they’ll return to help rid the town of Lily’s heretics!

Malcolm is one of Lily Salvatore’s six heretics brought back from the 1903 prison world by Kai. He was originally a member of the Gemini Coven and was exiled from the coven due to the fact that he was a “Siphoner.” After meeting Lily, he was turned into a vampire and became a vampire/witch hybrid.

Heretics are Siphoner/Vampire hybrids who were originally part of the Gemini Coven. They were exiled because they could only do magic by siphoning it from another source such as another witch or magical object. The coven considered them abominations, which is why they were exiled to the 1903 prison world. After Lily joined them, she made them vampires. The heretics are the only supernatural creatures who can be both witch and vampire because they were originally siphoners.

The other heretics include Valerie, played by Elizabeth Blackmore, Nora, played by Scarlett Byrne, Mary Louise, played by Teressa Liane, Beau, played by Jaiden Kaine, and Julian, who hasn’t been cast yet.

Justice is a Southern boy, born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. His father loves the criminal justice system so his older sister is named Liberty. After attending Jefferson Davis High School he started studying mass communications at Auburn University but later switched to theater arts. He was helping a friend practice lines for “The Crucible” when the stage director suggested he audition for the lead role. He ended up winning the University’s “Best Actor” award and was also nominated for two Irene Ryan Awards for the numerous performances he did.

After graduating he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where The Vampire Diaries films, and landed commercials, such as Verizon Wireless, films, and numerous TV shows. In addition to acting, he is also trained in jazz dance, ballet, drum playing, and videography.

This isn’t the first vampire show Justice has been on. He was also on Moonlight in 2008 as Ray Fordham in “What’s Left Behind.” His other roles include Kutter on “Powers,” Cager in “TURN: Washington’s Spies,” Amity Divergent Husband in “Insurgent,” Knife Smock Man in “The Walking Dead,” Neil in “Halt and Catch Fire,” and Marcus in “Drop Dead Diva,”

Justice’s friend Jaiden Kaine has been cast as fellow heretic Beau. Justice tweeted “Glad to be working with you as well, my friend! Let’s have some fun, huh?!”

Jaiden is Cuban, Irish, and Antiguan, and studied acting at Esper Studios in New York. He was also part of the Blackwater military outfit, and a highly successful Calvin Klein model who helped launch their jean and underwear line in South Africa. He is mentored by fellow actor and friend Idris Elba. Some of his roles include a federal agent in “Person of Interest,” Sean Burton in “Scorned: Love Kills,” and Angie’s friend in “30 Rock.”
