Aiden Flowers, Young Klaus Mikaelson, The Originals

Happy Happy 10th Birthday to Aiden Flowers, who plays Young Klaus on The Originals!

Aiden James Flowers, the 4′ 7″ cutie who plays Young Klaus on The Originals was born December 13, 2004, ten years ago in Gulfport, Mississippi. They say actors are born, and apparently this is true with Aiden, because whenever he was asked what he wanted to be, he always responded, “I want to be an actor.”

August, 2012, he got his wish when he was cast as Peter Pinkerton, a supporting role in Victoria Kann’s musical adaptation of “Pinkalicious,” the role he later won a “Best Supporting Youth Actor” award for in the 2012 Actor’s Playhouse season.

In November, 2012, he auditioned for and was cast as Buddy, the lead role in Truman Capote’s “A Christmas Memory” at the New Stage Theatre in Jackson, Mississippi, from November 29th to December 16th, 2012.

Aiden followed this up with the role of Billy in Stanley Yung’s “2 Bedroom 1 Bath,” Andrew Champagne in Anthony Burns’ “Home Sweet Hell” which starred Katherine Heigl and Patrick Wilson, and will be Bobby in “Maggie,” Thomas in “A Gift Horse,” Charlie in “Abbatoir,” Crying Boy in “Mind Puppets,” and Young Ben Hennessey in the TV movie “Realm,” all in post-production and scheduled to be released in 2015. In addition to Young Klaus on The Originals, he also plays Young Hale on the TV series “Salem.” Not bad for a 10-year old!

Hard to believe he has any free time, but when he does he enjoys playing baseball and soccer as well as doing local theater. In school he’s in the “Venture talented and gifted” program, and also enjoys playing chess, dancing, writing songs, playing “Minecraft” and making stop-motion LEGO movies.

His twin sisters, Camden and Carson, also appeared with him in “2 Bedroom 1 Bath,” and at his first fan event at the Covington, GA, Mystic Grill he got stuck for 20 minutes in an elevator!
