Alex, Noma, and Michael must save angels and humans from the amphora in Dominion 2×11 “Bewilderment of Heart”!

In Dominion 2×11 “Bewilderment of Heart” Gabriel has released the amphora of death and Alex, Noma, and Michael must save humans and angels as well as Vega.

In 2×10 “House of Sacrifice” Gates went head-to-head snarky with Alex when the atomic plant threatened to go nuclear and destroy Vega. The only person who could fix it was Gates, so Alex agreed to take him to the plant. As Gates was leaving, he mentioned that Arika had poisoned him, but he was okay. Then he warned her not to drink any water Arika offers her!

On the way to the plant, Gates learned that his code name was “Precious Cargo,” after which he tells Alex that he can’t always get the girl! Unfortunately, when they entered the control room, it was apparent that the only way to prevent a meltdown was for Gates to go into the room with the rods and push them down by hand. Realizing it’s a death sentence, he told Alex to wait outside for his instructions. Once inside, he locked himself in. Alex called Claire to let Gates hear her voice one last time. Gates had wanted to know if Claire liked to dance and what her favorite food was. Now that he was going to die, she told him she hated to dance and her favorite food was broccoli, because they reminded her of little trees and Vega didn’t have trees. Gates tells Claire, “Vega needs a reason to keep going. Just like I needed you.” Then he pushed the last rod into place, he thanked Claire for letting him hear her voice one last time, then he pushed the rod down, fell on the floor, and died.

At the bar where William was holding court with his followers, David kept trying to persuade him to leave. He told him he’s sorry he left him in the desert. He was only trying to save his life. William had none of it. Claire had told Arika she wanted to get David, and Arika wanted to know if she wanted him dead or alive. Claire said she didn’t care. At the bar, one of Arika’s minions tried to shoot David, but she was stopped by David’s followers. William told her not to return, but David grabbed a knife and killed her. William got a message at the bottom of a coaster telling him the bar was surrounded by soldiers. He hugged David and told him to go. When he got outside, Claire and her soldiers arrested him. Back in the jail, David is led out of his cell in chains. He told Arika she could be next, but she told him, “We’ll see!”

In Vega, Michael was unconscious and he appeared in different clothes in what looked like Mallory. The man with the hat (the Prophet) brought him here. He wanted Michael to honor his pledge to kill himself. He also wanted Alex. Michael made him agree to a hand of Texas Hold ’em for his life. The hand came down to two cards. The chances were slim that the last two cards would include a King. When it did, the Prophet asked Michael how he knew, to which he said, “I have faith.” With that, Michael returned to his body in Vega.

He was agitated when he awoke and mentioned a star, then asked where Alex was. After joining Alex he asked if there was a new tattoo. Alex said there was. It appeared as they were getting closer to Vega. When he showed it to Michael, Michael told him it’s the “Morning Star.” Lucifer. His brother Lucifer was alive and coming. Has Lucifer taken over Gabriel?

In New Delphi, Gabriel has taken over and wanted Edward, now a dyad, to lead the 8-ball soldiers Julian left him. Edward didn’t want to. Gabriel explained that in a dyad, the higher angel eventually takes over the human part. The only reason Edward’s human part had the upper hand is because of Clementine. Gabriel told Edward to take Clementine and leave. After they leave Gabriel’s presence, Edward told Clementine to go to a place of safety, then returned to Gabriel.

In order to complete Edward’s dyad transition, Gabriel killed Clementine. At first Edward was despondent, then he turned cold and calm, pushed Clementine’s body away, stood up, and handed Gabriel the amphora. Gabriel asked him who he was, and he said he’s, “Gabriel’s soldier.” At the end of the episode, Gabriel landed on a building outside of Vega, soared into the air, and dropped the amphora to the ground, breaking the seal and releasing billows of black smoke.

Can Michael or the prophet give Noma her wings back? Is the man with the hat and flames really the prophet, and is he heading back to Mallory? Does he want Noma to bring Alex to Mallory? Now that Arika’s plans to use Gates to return to Helena have been dashed, what will she do next? How did William return, is he really William, and what is his agenda? Is Gabriel now a dyad? Is Gabriel now Lucifer? So many questions. Only four episodes left.
